I offer three tailored driving course plans to suit your needs: a comprehensive Standard 2 Hr Lessons Weekly for those just starting out, a Refresher Course for those looking to build on existing skills, and an Intensive Course for those needing to pass quickly.

Standard 2 Hr Lessons Weekly

Maximise learning with Two-Hour Lessons, providing extended practice time for comprehensive driving skills.

*pick-up within 20 minutes from city centre.

Intensive courses

Accelerate your learning with our Intensive Courses, designed for fast-paced and effective driving education. (Over one week or two weeks)

*meeting at a pre-arranged pick up point, either using your  own car or use of driving school car.

Advanced Driving

At Lindy's Learners, the Advanced Driving Lessons are designed to take your driving skills to the next level, helping you become a more confident, competent, and safety-conscious driver. Whether you're aiming to pass the advanced driving test or simply want to drive with more skill and assurance, my lessons provide practical, real-world experience to elevate your driving.

*meeting at a pre-arranged pick up point, either using your  own car or use of driving school car.

Intensive Courses

I can offer 3 learning packages of the intensive courses. 

(upon request a customised plan can be created so it can fit to your busy life)

INTENSIVE 1


10 Hour Semi-Intensive

Suitable after 20 hours prior instruction or after a test fail. 

Option 1:

- 4 hours lesson over 2 days and 2 hours allocated for test day (over 1 week period).      

Option 2:

- 2 hours lesson over 4 days and 2 hours allocated for test day over 1 week. 

*For the driving test the instructor's car can be used for an additional £60 fee. 

*personal car can be used for the driving test but the car has to comply with the DVLA regulations.

INTENSIVE 2


20 Hour Intensive

Suitable after 10 hours prior instruction.

Option 1:

- 4 days lesson doing 5 hours.

( over one week period)

Option 2:

- 4 hours over 5 day period and test in the following week. 

*For the driving test the instructor's car can be used for an additional £60 fee. 

*personal car can be used for the driving test but the car has to comply with the DVLA regulations.

INTENSIVE 3


40 Hour Intensive

Suitable for no prior learning.

Option 1:

- 20 hours in week one doing 4 hours per day, and week two 18 hour plus 2 hour for test

Option 2:

- 25 hours doing 5 hours per day week one

- Remaining 15 hours over 3 days test time included at end of course if ready (very challenging).

Please note:

There is no guarantee an individual will be test ready after the chosen course, any further lessons will be discussed at the time.

Learning to drive is different for each individual and time scale is variable

Remedial hours from 5 to 15  offered if having failed a previous test.

Refresher Lessons

Refresher lessons available whether not driven for a long period of time, or as a confidence booster.

Two hours on various roads, updating skills to suit your requirements.

Taxi Preparation Lessons

Become a professional with our Taxi Training Lessons, offering the knowledge and essential taxi driving skills to pass the assessment.

How quickly can I complete an intensive course?

The duration of an intensive course varies, but it typically ranges from 1 to 4 weeks, depending on your availability and learning speed. We tailor the course to fit your schedule and progress.

What are the requirements for taxi training eligibility?

To be eligible for taxi training, you must possess a valid UK driving licence and pass an initial assessment to ensure suitability for the course. Our team will guide you through any additional requirements needed.

Conditions:

Your Instructor

  • Will behave in a professional, courteous and supportive way; 
  • Will agree lesson plans before and at the end of lessons;
  • Will be on time, with a clean vehicle; 
  • Will make contact as soon as possible in the unforeseeable delay of start of lesson; 
  • Will refund any unused hours due to short notice cancellations; 
  • Will give honest feedback on practical driving test readiness; 
  • Will withhold vehicle for driving test if deemed not to be at a safe standard; 
  • Will inform you as soon as possible if a lesson needs to be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances; 
  • Will refuse to carry out the lesson if believes you are under the influence of drink or drugs.

 Payments And Cancellations

  • Deposit to be paid to secure intensive courses on booking; 
  • Final payment is to be paid 7 days prior to intensive courses start date; 
  • Late payment may mean your course dates will be rescheduled; 
  • In the event you need to cancel or reschedule your course 14 day's notice is required; 
  • No refund of deposit is made after 14 days; 
  • No refund of course fee if cancelled 5 days prior to course start; 
  • Two hourly Lessons have a 48 hour cancellation policy.

You – The Pupil 

  • Will bring your provisional driving licence to first driving lesson; 
  • Will wear sensible shoes for driving; 
  • Will inform your instructor of any illness that might affect your driving; 
  • Will inform your instructor of any medical conditions that might affect your driving;
  • Must be able to read a number plate ( with glasses or contact lenses if normally worn) at 20 metres, or 20.5 metres with old style number plates.
